Nancy’s work as a professional process server, where she locates individuals, verifies identities, and manages sensitive legal notifications, is the newest extension of her long-standing investigative career. Her foundation in this work began early. At age 13 she started researching her paternal line and discovered a passion for solving family mysteries. After using genetic genealogy to resolve questions in her own family, she began helping others by combining traditional research methods with autosomal DNA analysis.
Over the years, Nancy trained with leading genetic genealogists and volunteered with both domestic and international search groups for adoptees, as well as non-profits focused on identifying unclaimed persons. She holds a paralegal certification and multiple National Genealogical Society credentials, and during her time with Ancestry.com she contributed to shows such as Who Do You Think You Are and Relative Race.
