Nancy’s passion for genealogy and solving mysteries was born when, at age 13, she researched her paternal line. After solving her own family mysteries with the use of genetic genealogy, she ventured out into the world of helping others. Nancy completed training with some of the best genetic genealogists in the world and started assisting others who had unknown parentage using both traditional genealogy methods and autosomal DNA methodology. She currently volunteers with both domestic and international online search groups for adoptees and non-profits focused on finding unclaimed persons (coroner cases).

Nancy received a paralegal certification in 2012, followed by many genealogical certifications from the National Genealogical Society (NGS). While working for Ancestry.com Nancy was able to work on different shows such as "Who Do You Think You Are" and "Relative Race."
